Evaluation Question 1
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
In this video I explore our choices in terms of how we were inspired by existing media products to make our trailer. We chose to follow many conventions so that the trailer was definitely classed as our chosen genre of psychological thriller, however in some cases we chose to break conventions in order to assure that our piece of unique and personable.

Evaluation Question 2
How Effective is The Combination of Your Trailer and Your Ancillary Texts?
Here, I asked members of our target audience how effective they thought the combination of our trailer and ancillary texts were.
First, they watched the trailer on an iPhone, and then they looked at A3 print outs of our poster and website homepage.
Every person that viewed our promotional package agreed that it was very effective, specifically with the use of our image across both ancillary texts.
When asked, not one person could think of anything that they would change to improve its effect as a promotional package.
Everyone that was asked also said that if this were a real promotion, they would very much like to see the film.
I can therefore conclude that based on this research, and the feeling of our group, our ancillary texts, along with our trailer, act as a very effective advertisement for 'Larkspur'.
