This model can easily be applied to a wide range of films, including psychological thrillers. This would be a very good aspect to include in our trailer to create more of a contrast between the characters normal life and the negative events that occur during our psychological thriller trailer.

Equilibrium
Tristan Todorov is a Bulgarian literary theorist. Todorov suggested that most narratives start with a state of equilibrium in which life is 'normal' and the protagonist is happy. This state of normality is disrupted by an outside force, which has to be fought against in order to return to a state of equilibrium.
