Psychological Thriller Iconography

Here we compiled a short video displaying some iconography that is associated with our genre. We realised that close-up's of the face are very effective in this genre, as well as dark and sinister lighting. We plan to use quite high key lighting in some parts of our trailer to create a 'dream-like' state, so this would in some ways be challenging the iconography that is shown here. Long shots of the location, which is normally a house, are used in this genre. We think this is because it shows binary opposition of a place that is normally safe being unsafe. We want to include a long shot of a house in our trailer to keep with this convention.
